1. Local-First Architecture

Hush is designed around a local-first architecture. Your focus rules, schedules, and history are stored on your device. When you press AI Shield scan, Hush sends only the current visible window titles, process names, and existing rule names to the Hush API so an AI model can suggest better local block rules. Hush does not send screenshots, keystrokes, screen recordings, or file contents.

2. What We Collect

The only information we collect is what is necessary to process your payment and authenticate your subscription. This includes:

• Your email address (for account creation and license recovery).
• Subscription status and license keys.
• AI Shield scan snapshots, only when you manually run a scan, for generating rule suggestions.
• Payment information (processed securely via our payment provider; we do not store full credit card details).

3. Telemetry and Analytics

Hush does not include hidden desktop telemetry or background screen tracking. AI Shield calls are user-triggered and used to return focus-rule suggestions.
